Suntory Hibiki 12 Years Old
Suntory Hibiki 12 Years Old
Hibiki 12 is an exquisite blended whisky partly matured in umeshu liqueur barrels. It consists of malt whisky from yamazaki and hakushu and grain whisky from Chita.
It is a symphony of malt and grain whiskies that have been scrupulously blended to produce a full orchestra of tastes and smells.
Hibiki “Harmony”
Hibiki, meaning harmony in Japanese, was launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory’s 90th anniversary. It was made to reflect the sophistication of Suntory's techniques. Age malt whiskies from one million casks at suntory were sampled and tasted by chief blender Koichi Inatomi before discovering the perfect blend - a blend of thirty distinctive malt and mellow grain whiskies. A true harmony of Japanese nature and Craftsmanship.
Hibiki, The Art of Design
The Hibiki bottle design embodies the Japanese nature and its artistic sensibilities. Each label is painstakingly handcrafted to reflect the Japanese aesthetic. The neck of the bottle is adorned with deep purple – Japan's noblest color and the elegant twenty-four faceted decanter bottle symbolizes time as it relates to Hibiki.
