The Macallan Edition No. 2 – 50ml Miniature

A collaborative creation between The Macallan’s Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno, and the Roca brothers of El Celler de Can Roca, Edition No. 2 showcases the influence of seven distinct cask types from four different bodegas. Each cask was selected to reflect the personalities of the collaborators, resulting in a rich and complex single malt that marries the worlds of whisky and gastronomy.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Treacle, ginger, toffee apples, and rich fruits, layered with vanilla, tropical fruits, and subtle green wood.

Palate: Warm spices of cracked black pepper and cloves, complemented by chocolate, brown sugar, oak, nuts, liquorice, and brandy snaps.

Finish: Full, slow, warm, and wonderfully viscous.

This miniature offers a convenient way to experience the depth and character of Edition No. 2, reflecting the synergy between whisky craftsmanship and culinary artistry.
